An archaeological evaluation was required in advance of the construction of a cattle shed and associated slurry midden. The proposed development site is located c. 55m north-west of a motte and bailey (LDY003–008). Three test-trenches were excavated within the proposed development site. Two of the trenches measured c. 50m by 2m and the third measured c. 10m by 2m. No finds, features or deposits of archaeological significance were uncovered in any of the trenches.
