Testing of a proposed dwelling house at Walshestown, Churchtown, Co. Cork, was undertaken as part of an impact assessment. The proposed site is located within the constraint zone for a mound (possible limekiln) (CO016–076). Four test-trenches were excavated and no archaeological finds or features were uncovered.
