Four test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of the proposed dwelling and a fifth along the proposed entranceway at Rusheen, Coachford. The site is in the environs of a standing stone, a potential site and an RC church. Topsoil overlay an orange/brown natural subsoil. No finds or features of an archaeological nature were noted.
