Test-trenches were excavated by machine on the footprint of a single house site at Knockaclarig, Rockchapel, as part of an assessment. A limekiln is located to the south of the site on the opposite side of the third-class road. No archaeological stratigraphy, features or artefacts were recorded in the trenches.
