Monitoring of ground-reduction works was carried out on a site at Fuhur, Castletownbere, which is in the environs of a possible standing stone. Topsoil was removed to a depth of 0.3–0.4m on the site. This overlay a brittle bedrock. No archaeological finds or levels were noted on the site.
