Four test-trenches were excavated in advance of the construction of an access track and monopole at Drominane, Killeagh. The site is located in the zone of archaeological potential for CO066–051, an ornamental tower, which is no longer extant. The trenches were excavated to an average depth of 0.3m. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during the testing.
