Five test-trenches were opened on this proposed development site at Dromdaleague, Drimoleague, which is in the environs of a ringfort, using a mechanical excavator. Topsoil was removed to a depth of 0.25–0.3m in the trenches. This overlay a yellow/brown boulder clay subsoil. No archaeological finds or levels were noted.
