Monitoring of this scheme was carried out during 2005. The pipeline was confined to the land-take of the existing road as it travels through Doneraile and through the townlands of Cornahinch, Richardstown, Lisnagrough, Doneraile, Horseclose, Cloonbane, Kilvickaneease, Knockbrack, Sycamore and Skaghardgannon. The road forms the town boundary between these townlands to the north and south of Doneraile. Nothing of archaeological significance was discovered during the programme of monitoring.
