Testing of a proposed development at Codrum, Macroom, Co. Cork, was undertaken as part of an impact assessment. The proposed site is located within the constraint zone for a largely levelled ringfort (CO070–047). The development consists of an extension to the front of a nursing home. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered during testing.
