Testing was carried out at four development sites situated within the farm at 21 Gortahar Road, Rasharkin, Co. Antrim. The farm is positioned on a ridge overlooking both Rasharkin village and the Bann valley. An enclosure of uncertain date (ANT026–026) had been incorporated into the farmyard and built over. A total of 24 test-trenches were excavated within the confines of the four sites. The topsoil was up to 0.5m deep, overlying undisturbed subsoil. No archaeological deposits were found.
