An excavation was conducted in advance of building an extension to a nursing home and landscaping of the surrounding grounds. A north–south ditch, over 3m wide and 1m deep, was identified, with finds of medieval pottery recovered from the fills. Other features recorded included 19th-century pits and garden features.
