Prior to the construction of a residential development, three test-trenches were excavated. These trenches revealed that the majority of the development consisted of made ground (i.e. hard core, building rubble), which sealed the underlying boulder clay. Only modern services, such as water pipes, disturbed the glacial till. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered.
