Test-trenching showed that the site has been massively disturbed by modern services and building works. The east half of the site appeared to have been truncated by the original road access to Laganside Bus Station and contained numerous live services. The west half had been sealed with reinforced concrete, which, once removed, revealed extensive disturbance by modern services and building schemes. No archaeological deposits were identified during the course of the test-trenching.
