It was proposed to redevelop the Quay Road playing fields, Ballycastle, Co. Antrim. The proposed redevelopment will consist of the re-laying of existing pitches and the creation of a number of additional pitches. Monitoring of topsoil removal was conducted between May and June 2005 in the area of the east playing fields. No evidence of archaeological deposits was identified during the course of topsoil removal.
