Monitoring was undertaken on a site at 8–10 North Street, Ballycastle, in advance of redevelopment. Test-trenches up to 1.1m in width were excavated to formation level, located at a depth of 0.8–1.1m below the ground level. All the trenches were excavated into a clean sand. Nothing of archaeological interest was found.
