Testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed car showroom in response to planning conditions. Testing revealed archaeological activity in the form of an 11m-diameter ring-ditch with associated features, and other features scattered throughout the site. Excavation of the identified deposits was subsequently carried out by Ciara MacManus (see No. 1674, Excavations 2005).
