Testing at this site in 2003 revealed a number of features, which were subsequently preserved in situ (Excavations 2003, No. 2021). Further groundworks were undertaken at the site in 2005 and monitoring of a service trench revealed a large pit containing sherds of medieval pottery. The pit was originally uncovered during testing of the site in 2003.
