Testing was undertaken at the site in response to recommendations from the DoEHLG. The site was previously thought to be the location of an urn burial, SMR 37:29. This feature was in fact uncovered c. 50m from the site. Testing revealed a number of ditches, pits and gullies, most of which contained medieval pottery. Development will not take place on this site.
