The north beach at Courtown, Co. Wexford, between Courtown Harbour and Duffcarrick Rocks, was surveyed at low tide on 26 January 2005. Planning permission is currently being sought for the construction of new coastal defences to protect the sand dunes from erosion. The intertidal survey was carried out as part of an EIS for the development. Nothing of archaeological interest was recorded.
