The excavation of the remains of nine archaeological sites that had been previously identified during centre-line testing along the proposed route of the N11 Gorey–Arklow link in the townlands of Coolnastudd (six sites) and Coolnaveagh (three sites), Co. Wexford, took place during the period 14 May to 5 September 2005. At the site of Coolnaveagh 21 the remains of a ring-ditch, two modern field boundaries and six field drains were uncovered. In addition to this, a series of pottery sherds were also uncovered (the sherds have yet to be dated).
