The excavation of the remains of nine archaeological sites that had been previously identified during centre-line testing along the proposed route of the N11 Gorey–Arklow link in the townlands of Coolnastudd (six sites) and Coolnaveagh (three sites), Co. Wexford, took place during the period 14 May to 5 September 2005. At the site of Coolnastudd 15 the remains of a field boundary composed of two linear ditches with an accompanying internal bank, a circular pit, three areas of burning and a natural depression (most likely a tree bole) were excavated.
