The excavation of the remains of nine archaeological sites that had been previously identified during centre-line testing along the proposed route of the N11 Gorey–Arklow link in the townlands of Coolnastudd (six sites) and Coolnaveagh (three sites), Co. Wexford, took place during the period 14 May to 5 September 2005. At the site of Coolnastudd 14 the remains of a hearth, a second hearth with an associated area of burning, a third hearth, a series of rabbit burrows and the remains of a modern field drain filled with stones were excavated.
