The excavations at Site 12, Moneylawn Lower, were carried out in advance of the N11 Gorey–Arklow link road scheme. The site consisted of a subcircular shallow pit. The pit had suffered from intense heating, which had turned the natural subsoil a brick-red colour. Apart from a moderate quantity of charcoal, there were no other artefacts recovered from the site and no other features identified.
