Test-trenching ahead of a commercial development at 6 Crossroads Business Park, Waterford, found burnt-mound material close to a burnt mound recently excavated by Colm Moloney (Excavations 2003, No. 1864, 03E1176). No further burnt mounds and no other settlement remains were found.
