Trial-trenching ahead of groundworks adjacent to St Andrew’s Parish Church, Killyman, Co. Tyrone, was undertaken in late December 2005 and early January 2006. Six trenches (A–F) were opened across the development area. The remnants of a possibly ancient ditch system were identified in Trenches E and F in the eastern part of the site, along with a pit. In the west of the site was recorded what may be a large cut feature in Trenches A and B, the origin and function of which at present remains unknown. No finds were recovered.
