Monitoring took place at Rorardstown Lower, Drom, Co. Tipperary, in September 2005. The proposed development includes the construction of a dormer dwelling house, garage, septic tank and entranceway. The site is located c. 100m south-west of a castle site (SMR 35:48). The topsoil was removed to the depth of natural subsoil and nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
