Testing was undertaken for sixteen dwellings at Lisronagh, near Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. The site of the development is in the village of Lisronagh, just inside the zone of archaeological potential for a medieval settlement. Seven test-trenches were excavated. A possible post-medieval field boundary was evident in four trenches. This was oriented north-west/south-east and measured 1.45m in width, c. 0.55m in depth and contained a mid-brown silty clay. A burnt feature and a possible pit/post-hole were evident in one trench, while in another a linear feature ran north-east/south-west in the trench for c. 5.45m north of the post-medieval field boundary.
