Testing was undertaken as part of further information for planning permission to build a new stand at a GAA sports grounds in the village of Kilcommon. The development site was 100m away from a ringfort (possible site). Two test-trenches were opened. Nothing of archaeological provenance was discovered in the course of testing works.
