Test-trenching was undertaken in advance of the development of a recycling centre and local area depot. The site lies within the zone of archaeological potential for a possible enclosure. Nothing of an archaeological nature was discovered during the testing. While there is a direct impact on the monument, this site is now completely covered in landfill, and no archaeological material was encountered.
