Six test-trenches were opened on the site of a proposed single housing development in Tonroe, Tulsk. The development site was set within a large archaeological complex, with two ringforts, a souterrain and a pit on the opposite side of the public road to the site. No archaeological remains were uncovered in the course of testing works.
