Testing was undertaken as part of a planning submission to build a house at Hawksford, Ballaghaderreen. Five test-trenches were opened on the site. A children’s burial ground was located c. 40m to the north-east of the development site. No evidence of archaeological features or deposits was found in any of the trenches opened.
