Testing was carried out on this site in February 2005 in advance of the proposed construction of a bungalow in the vicinity of a monument, a subrectangular platform, 11m by 13m, slightly raised above the surrounding marshy land and likely to represent relatively modern agricultural settlement features. Nine trenches were excavated across the area of the proposed development. No archaeological features or artefacts were noted.
