This site was surveyed by the IAWU in June 2001 and consisted of a single plank visible in a drain face (OF-RDM0006). A small cutting, measuring 0.6m by 0.3m, was dug obliquely back into the drain face to follow the line of the plank, which proved to be no more than a short fragment, 0.38m long, 0.2m wide and 0.06m thick. It lay in an east–west orientation 0.6m below the bog surface and terminated just beyond the drain face. The plank was of oak and a secondary tangential conversion, with remains of a square-cut mortise hole where it had been truncated by the drain face.
