Test-trenching as part of an assessment was carried out in advance of development of the site. Three trenches, out of a proposed four, were excavated. The fourth was not undertaken because there was an active sewer on this part of the site. The trenches revealed modern builders’ rubble and waste material. They contained no material of an archaeological nature.
