An assessment, including testing, was carried out in advance of construction of a PE Hall at St Michael’s Loreto School, Athlumney, Navan. Four trenches were excavated, two in the area where the access roadway and roundabout are planned and two on the site for the hall. The trenches revealed no archaeological material.
Monitoring of the groundworks for the development was carried out under an extension to the licence. The monitor disclosed no archaeological material.
