Monitoring took place during topsoil-stripping and excavations for a dwelling house and garage c. 200m to the north-east of the henge monument at Heathtown, Stamullin. A single pit exposed on the site of the garage measured 1m by 0.95m and was 0.24m deep. The dark charcoal-flecked fill produced a small quantity of pottery, flint and burnt bone. The twelve sherds of pottery have been identified as Grooved Ware. The eight pieces of flint included one large round flake (44mm) with some retouch.
