An assessment took place on this site for which planning permission was applied to build a bungalow, garage, wastewater treatment system, etc. North of the development site are SMR 31:11, a church, and SMR 31:12, a tower-house site. Nine trenches tested the footprint of the house and of the driveway, etc. No archaeological material was exposed. There was evidence for dumping of modern rubbish in some pits and some loose stones were also recovered from the topsoil. No artefacts were recovered.
