In response to a planning condition issued by Drogheda Borough Council, an assessment of a proposed commercial development at Bank of Ireland, St Laurence Centre, Laurence Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth, was undertaken on 18 April 2005. Three trenches were excavated by machine in the area of the proposed development in the carpark to the rear of the Bank of Ireland. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified.
