In response to a planning condition issued by Drogheda Borough Council, an assessment of a proposed development at 4 Barrack Street, Drogheda, was undertaken in April 2005. A single trench was excavated by hand in the area of a proposed extension to the rear of the dwelling. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified.
