Nine test-trenches were excavated on this long, narrow site in November 2004 (Excavations 2004, No. 1034). The demolition of the street-front buildings allowed for the excavation of the final test-trench, Trench 10, in April 2005. The 1m-wide trench was excavated for a distance of 23m in a south-east/north-west direction from the street front. Limestone bedrock directly underlay c. 0.2m of topsoil. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
