Testing (as part of an assessment) was undertaken in advance of a proposed single-house development. The site was situated within the zone of archaeological potential for an enclosure and very close to a deserted settlement. Five trenches measuring 4–15m in length by 1.6m were excavated across the footprint of the proposed development. Nothing of an archaeological nature was found.
