Test-trenching was carried out in advance of the construction of a slatted agricultural shed at Garryellen, Fedamore. The site is in the vicinity of the zone of archaeological potential for the site of Garryellen Castle. Three trenches were excavated across the area of the proposed development. They varied in length from 15m to 25m and were 1.5m in width. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during the testing.
