An impact assessment was undertaken for a housing development and the route of a pipeline proposed by Limerick County Council in Pallas Green. The proposed housing development is situated within the zone of archaeological potential for a ringfort. Two test-trenches were excavated and no features of archaeological significance were revealed. The proposed route of the pipeline passes through the zone of archaeological potential for a possible barrow and a possible earthwork. Four test-trenches were excavated along the route and no features of archaeological significance were revealed.
