Testing (as part of an assessment) was undertaken in advance of the construction of a dwelling and associated works at Duntryleague, Galbally. The site lay within the zone of archaeological potential for a ringfort and field system. Six trenches were excavated on site measuring 20m to 25m in length by 1.5m. Nothing archaeological in nature was found.
