Testing (as part of an assessment) was carried out in advance of a development of 28 houses and associated works. The site is about 500m to the north of a church and graveyard. Eight trenches were dug, measuring 50–100m in length by 2m, within the footprint of the development. Nothing of an archaeological nature was discovered.
