Testing of a proposed development site at Deebert, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, was undertaken as part of a pre-planning assessment. The development consisted of the construction of a carpark on a greenfield site in association with the construction of a hotel on an adjacent site, which was the subject of previous testing (Excavations 2004, No. 1004, 04E0843). Four test-trenches were excavated on the proposed development site, which is in the grounds of a Church of Ireland church. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered during testing.
