An assessment with testing was undertaken at the site of an individual development partially located within the zone of archaeological potential for a ‘moated site’, SMR 20:30, at Ballyvocouge, Askeaton, Co. Limerick. Four trenches were excavated across the site: on the footprint of the foundations for the dwelling and garage, the driveway and percolation area. No archaeological features were recorded.
