This licence refers to further topsoil-stripping in the vicinity of Lord Leitrim’s house at the centre of the estate, a proposed hotel/leisure centre development associated with the golf course mentioned in No. 946, Excavations 2005. This included a number of small areas in the vicinity of the house and outbuildings. This work was done over the months of July and August 2005 with no evdience of archaeological activity in any of the areas investigated.
