Unlicensed monitoring took place of a proposed development at The Numbers, Graiguecullen, Co. Laois, between 7 and 16 March 2005. Four areas were detailed as a result of a geophysical survey carried out in 2004. These areas were opened prior to topsoil-stripping as an archaeological exercise. All anomalies during the geophysical survey were identified as modern disturbance or natural geological features. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified during the programme of monitoring.
