Two small sections of the ground floor of a tower-house were excavated by hand. No archaeological layers remained, as the tower-house had been used as living quarters until fairly recently. The undisturbed level consisted of small rounded stones, which can be seen elsewhere in the field that surrounds the tower-house as natural deposits. A trench outside the tower cut for services revealed nothing of archaeological interest.
